Julie Abouchar and Richard Butler will be speaking at the Water & Wastewater Regulation and Compliance Course on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at this year's ever popular CANECT Conference.
Julie will also be co-chairing the course with Rosanna DiLabio from Pinchin Ltd.
The conference is taking place in Vaughan, Ontario from May 12 to May 14, 2020 at The Venetian Banquet & Hospitality Centre.
Join us for an update on water and wastewater legislation, and an interactive session that will walk participants through a case study designed to outline the regulatory framework around managing and troubleshooting common water and wastewater issues.
The course will focus on the application of information presented by subject matter experts to the fictional scenario of a discharge from a manufacturing facility, resulting in management and employees preparing themselves for trial, as well as a dispute over storm water management in a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment.
Attendees will take away valuable lessons for the practical application in identifying, managing and mitigating environmental compliance risks in their workplace.
