John Georgakopoulos will be presenting at the Canadian Brownfields Network National Brownfields Summit: Charting the Future which is taking place at Oakham House, Ryerson University, Toronto ON on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.

John's presentation is titled Environmental Case Law Update.  As the net of environmental liability continues to expand, it has become increasingly important to understand and manage environmental risks and liabilities associated with brownfields.  At the same time, a new focus on climate change federally and provincially may bring both risks and opportunities for brownfield projects.  At the 2018 CBN summit, John will discuss the latest legal developments, their impact on brownfield redevelopment, and how to manage related environmental risks and liabilities.
